We didn't really have a company or anything we just had made that prototype of a game that was up on the internet. Jason was working for the Total Entertainment Network at that time, and he saw the game, sent us an email, and was kind of interested in finding out what we wanted to do with it. So we put that up on the internet and only spent a couple of months doing the initial development on it. We just kind of started with this very simple game that you could join in very easily and play against other people, but in kind of a flying saucer capture-the-flag type game.

There was this game called Subspace it was sort of popular, but you had to have a pretty decent connection to be able to play it. It was kind of like back in the old days when there weren't too many action internet games. So John and I were in college in computer science class, and we had kind of decided to work on a side project and try to build an internet game. When I went to college, in my freshman year I met John, one of the other founders, and he was in one of my computer science classes. Scrabble Journey and Scrabble Plus are also favorites of mine since I enjoy PC word games more than any other genre of video games. I still have my Bookworm Wordy Wonder bundle on my bookshelf waiting to add more beside it. I would even be willing to pay a fair price for some more volumes. I wish someone could contact the producers or creators of Bookworm Adventures and let them know they have fans out here waiting for more Bookworm Adventures. I was very much looking out for more installments but they never came. I myself would very much love to see a Bookworm Adventures 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 10 and so on! There should be a whole encyclopedia set of Bookworm Adventure PC games! I have already bought the Bookworm Wordy Wonder Bundle from Wal-Mart several years ago and I have played and won parts 1 and 2 over and over again.

So yah sorry Lex but EA cares more about Dollar bills than giving you a proper ending so you EA. We most likely are not getting a Bookworm adventures 3 because of EA and the most we can hope for is probably a fangame or a bundle pack released in the future. I also played other Popcap games like PvZ and Zuma and I see that EA has mostly ruined or just ignored it as usual. Not only that but each enemy is based around some sort of story or book that exists in real life. Its Scrabble but an RPG adventure with strategy needing to be used against each enemy. Not so much the original Bookworm but still. I grew up playing Bookworm Adventures 1 & 2 with my father and have a lot of great memories with it. Heck even the maker of head of Popcap ignored Bookworm adventures in a tweet when fans asked about it if my memory serves me right. EA takes it as a sign that Bookworm is unprofitable and then they take all titles of steam and other sites where they were playable and most likely canceled Bookworm adventures 3. So what do they do? Make a crappy app store title that gets no marketing barley lasts a few short years before it is shut down. Of course this means they also get the rights to Bookworm adventures. Pointing towards a bookworm adventures volume 3! Then EA buys Popcap in 2011 for 650 million in order to get PvZ, Peggle and Bejeweled. Think about it we get Bookworm adventures 2 in 2009 with the ending hinting at a to be continued.
